Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu paid a visit to Uzbekistan

On the occasion of his visit, Minister Çavuşoğlu attended an event organized by Uzbekistan Turkish Businessmen Association on 25 April. At the event Turkey-Uzbekistan economic and trade relations were discussed.

On 26 April, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu and Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov co-chaired the meeting between the delegations at which bilateral relations and regional issues were discussed.

Following the meeting, Minister Çavuşoğlu and his counterpart Kamilov signed a cooperation program between the Foreign Ministries of two countries and held a joint press conference.

Minister Çavuşoğlu met with the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Uzbekistan and was received by President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

After the meetings he replied questions of the media on his visit to Uzbekistan and the current agenda.
